I totally agree with your 1-5. In response to #5: I remember that when I was a kid a Russia, gum was a very rare thing to come upon, so people in my class used to take turns chewing the same piece. My aunt (who lived in London at that point) once sent me this amazing, super-fragrant gum (it's called DONALD -- they don't have it here), and all these girls kept on hassling me to let them chew it when I was done with it. Ugh! I never participated in this lunacy, of course!
Unrelated: you should try putting your underwear in the fridge for a few hours and then wearing it -- it's quite the idea, BELIEVE ME!

with the possible exception of your first list, i'll share items WHEN I'VE FINISHED USING THEM. my issue with subway lady is that i have no interest in tandem reading! wait your turn! or at least don't tell me when to turn the page, b/c i will do it when i damn well please... NO ONE can boss me around during my unwinding activities!
