Judy is the lovely lady who sold me the Jeep. What about me leads you believe I even like Judy Garland?
Cafe Vivaldi is just overrun with the B&T crowd that needs to be PATH accessible. That's the risk you run in the W.Vil off late. ABCDs making the FOB choice to live in JC are creating late night PATH traffic past the uber white, drunken Hobo crowd.
CbF didn't think it necessary to rescue said Desi Damsels from their Dorky Dudes in tow...how come?
hey there! You can speak. Glad to see you back in full verbal capacity. Hey, if you can't spill your guts to an anonymous internet stranger, who else?
Okay: Judy Garland. I could suggest any pop culture icon and maybe suspect it to be something you're familiar with. Your mom may have told you about Judy for example. Also, you have pretty eclectic influences. I remember the story about the song-memorization game on hot days.
Cafe Vivaldi: thanks for the low down. CV is an old 'cincher' date venue for me--its got all the best romantic trappings. I have shamelessly used it in the past to help a shrinking violet (or two) achieve consensus that she should go home with me.
I have a sentimental spot in my heart for that place for many reasons. Also my favorite singer often performs there (NLX).
That's who I was there friday night to see. Of course, a typical Manhattan date isn't complete unless something goes wrong. My date canceled at the last minute, leaving me to play the mysterious single gent in the corner staring moodily into his Stella.
But yes it was remarkable the Desi crowd that thronged CV friday, never seen it that thick before.
Oh and I didn't 'move in' on anyone's girl (they were all escorted) because even though I know how to 'mack a room' it's not my nature. Plus I'm too burnt out these days. Engaging in forced, banal, chitchat strictly for the purposes of sex-- bores me silly. And of course, I'm not going to "cock-block" another guy without good cause.
But let's say there were un-escorted girls there. I don't believe in going to crazy lengths to get someone's number when all you can really see is that the girl is hot. . *looking*. I'd rather make an approach at a girl who has something intelligent to say to me.
From the conversations I overheard, these Desi chicks could only talk about their next med school exam. Or their makeup. It was that thin, believe me! lol
Anyway, as I said above--glad to see you blogging again. Always such entertaining escapades.

Who's Judy?
Tell me you didn't "name" your car after Judy Garland or something.
Nice new profile pic--black dress!
D'Souza certainly gave up a great rack. What knockers.
OT: was in Cafe Vivaldi friday night, (w. village) --has that place become a new "Desi Underground" gathering-spot?
Positively mobbed with some very dee-lish Indian girls and their (geeky) Indian guy escorts.
